It's time to reflect back on your journey so far.
Are you still working towards what you want?
Or did you get side tracked?
Make sure you continue to read your life plan and ajust it whenever it feels wrong.
Write this reminder on your calender (i use my iPhone calender + a paper kind on my toilet wall). Repeat reading it every 3 months or so. Keep it fresh in mind.
Another trick to keep your goals in mind, is to create a vision board, and hang it on your fridge or walls.
I also like to watch Pinterest pictures daily before bed. Pictures of the woman I'd like to be, the house I'd like to live in, the farm animals and food garden I'd like to have, etc.
I do this so I can "Fake it till I make it" or: Fake it till I become and have it. Be the person you'd like to be. Act like her. Dress like her. Make friends that fit your new life.
As humans we tend to change a lot and it's only natural if your life plan changes with you.
Go back to your life plan drawing board and update it if needed.
Make sure you check your goals, how far you've come, celebrate your wins and write down your learning points.
Your learning points can now become new goals.
I always find it helpful to start with the bigger goals and devide them into smaller ones.
Then the smaller goals can be devided into periodic tasks, like yearly, monthly, weekly and daily tasks.
I write my daily tasks down on my weekly paper calender/planner which is hanging on my toilet wall.
So every toilet visit, I'm reminded of my tasks that week.
It's okay if you don't always follow up on the daily/ weekly tasks. You can move them over to the next week.
Life should stay pleasant. It's a life of your own design. So you decide how fast you go.
I hope these tips & tricks will help you become motivated again to persue your dreams.
I wish you well. -Fleur
